Challenge

Our core objective was to build an entire online store from the ground using the Magento Open Source 2.3.3 version. Naseem Perfume Co. partnered with MageDelight for store setup, customization, and configuration. The client also had many customization requirements, which we delivered as we promised. However, we faced a challenge when we were installing and configuring the Payfort payment gateway. The verification process was long and complicated. But after a lot of effort, we finally made it work.

Approach

MageDelight team incorporated the SMB solution’s Standard package as per the client’s request to set up Naseem’s online store. We used Porto Theme and did customization to turn it into the most appealing design as the client requested. Along with the frontend customization, we implemented a handful of extensions to fulfill the custom functionality requirements asked by the client.

Here is the list of all features/functionalities we created on top of our SMB Solution to achieve the client’s vision for his eCommerce shop.

• Designed the online store in such a way that customers can have the local look and feel with Arabic as the standard language and an option to switch to English.
• One Step Checkout functionality was implemented to speed up the checkout process for customers and increase the conversion rates for the client.
• We also implemented a track order feature using a third-party module called Shipping Tracker Extension for Magento 2.
• Apart from this, the client also needed an option of Gift Wrap to let customers send Naseem’s products as gifts to their loved ones.
• We also created an internal loyalty program for Naseem’s most loyal customers using the Reward Points Extension.
• We integrated Payfort Payment Gateway for payment processing with Bank Transfer and COD to offer multiple options to the customers.

Result

We developed a feature-rich and scalable online store with the local language experience for Naseem’s customers. In the end, we were able to fulfill all the requirements and customizations that the client wanted and this made him satisfied and happy working with us.
