Step - 1

First of all, log in to your admin panel and navigate to Marketing > Communications > Email Templates.

After that, click on the Add New Template button, find the Load Default Template section, and click on the Load Template button next to the template that you want to edit.

Next, go to the Template Information section and do the following:

  • Write a name for your new template in the Template Name field.
  • Write a subject for your new template in the Subject field.
  • Add custom CSS styles in the Template Content field.
  • Mention specific template styles of your choice in the Template Styles field (if any).
  • Click on the Save Changes button.

Now, navigate to Stores > Settings > Configuration > Customers > Customer Configuration.

After that, open the Create New Account Options section & do the following to set up a new welcome email.

  • Write the default email domain in the Default Email Domain field.
  • Select your custom email template in the Default Welcome Email dropdown field.
  • If you want to send welcome emails to customers whose accounts were created by the admin from the backend, customize the Default Welcome Email Without Password field.
  • Change the Email Sender & enable the Emails Configuration if needed.
  • Once everything is done, click on the Save Config button to finish the process.
